Myles Lane was the first American trained player to skate in the NHL. He was the latest surviving member of the Boston Bruins 1929 Stanley Cup Champions Team. He also played football and was a New York Supreme Court Justice. Jeremiah played the 1931-32 season in the NHL but was more know for this contribution to hockey as a coach. He won the Lester Patrick Trophy in 1969.
